US President Donal Trump has been a heavy critic of China’s trade practices and the trade imbalance with China. Recently he ordered an investigation into China’s trade practices, which many view as the first shot fired in a trade war between the US and China. 

Economist William Milberg told NewsChina that an all-out trade war between China and the US is unlikely, and both countries should hold a constructive dialogue and deliberate negotiations to improve the trade relationship.
