Zhu Hengpeng, director of the Center for Public Policy Research, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, explaining why good generic drugs are not available in China, on his public WeChat account.   
 “China respects any regulations on the protection of intellectual property, and no Chinese government or enterprise will force the other side to transfer such property during negotiations. If this happened, please show us the evidence.”
