It is imperative that the police adhere to the law, but when addressing campus bullying, authorities must prioritize the protection and support of victims. On one hand, we should establish various avenues to assist victims in stepping out of the shadows through diverse means. On the other, we should mete out substantial penalties to [underage] bullies and their guardians, which not only provides solace to the victims but also serves as a deterrent to potential bullies.
