China Pavilion Wins Gold Award at Expo 2025 in Osaka

At the Expo 2025 Osaka held in Kansai, Japan from April to October, the China Pavilion won the Gold Award in the Large Self-Built Pavilion category, China’s first gold award at a comprehensive expo overseas.

At the Expo 2025 Osaka held in Kansai, Japan from April to October, the China Pavilion won the Gold Award in the Large Self-Built Pavilion category, China’s first gold award at a comprehensive expo overseas.  

With the theme of “Building a Community of Life for Man and Nature – Future Society of Green Development,” the China Pavilion, covering 3,500 square meters, distinguished itself by combining traditional Chinese aesthetics with cutting-edge technologies. It showcased China’s traditional ecological philosophy over its long history, using Chinese cultural elements like bamboo and ancient poems. At the same time, it highlighted China’s achievements in modern green development using new materials, new energy and new technologies like AI.  

According to Li Qingshuang, deputy director of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the China Pavilion attracted over 1.9 million visitors from all over the world, including nearly 300 political dignitaries from 95 countries and regions.
