China news Liaoning News, October 26 (Dong Chao) Recently, the 2024 Shenyang Overseas Elites Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition, organized by the Liaoning Association for Science and Technology and the Shenyang Municipal People's Government, concluded successfully after intense competition in both domestic and overseas sectors. The event was co-hosted by the Shenyang Association for Science and Technology, the Organization Department of the CPC Shenyang Municipal Committee, the Shenyang Bureau of Science and Technology, the Shenyang Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and the Administrative Committee of the Shenyang High-tech Industrial Development Zone.
The competition attracted the active participation of numerous technology enterprises and innovative teams from domestic and international backgrounds, jointly showcasing their achievements in fields such as next-generation information technology, high-end equipment and new materials, biomedicine and big health, and energy conservation and environmental protection. In the finals of the domestic sector, 15 high-quality projects signed landing intention agreements, while 12 projects did so in the overseas sector.
In the finals of the domestic competition, the “Zero Trust-based IPv6 Secure Ad Hoc Network” project won the gold award, the “thermal recombination + ultra-high speed cutting and folding integrated machine”, “AR Glasses Main Control R&D and Industrialization,” and “Hydrogen Future - Key Technologies for AEM Electrolysis for Hydrogen Production Based on Single-atom Catalysis Strategy” won the silver award, and 5 projects including the “new generation hydrogen fuel cell system technology” won the bronze award.
In the finals of the overseas competition, “Automotive Autonomous Driving Millimeter-wave Radar Solution” and “AI-TOF Processor Chip Design, 3D Human-Machine Interactive AI Action Recognition System” won the gold award. The silver award was won by 6 projects including “ultra-high energy efficiency low-dropout refrigerator”, and the bronze award was won by 10 projects including “introduction and development of laser measuring instrument for cable outer diameter and eccentric wall thickness”.
The follow-up competition will provide support for the award-winning projects, including entrepreneurship incubation subsidies, local government talent policy support, priority investment recommendation and angel investment of up to 10 million yuan. Meanwhile, the award-winning projects can also participate in a series of activities such as overseas elites training camp, entrepreneurship training, landing incubation conference, so as to facilitate start-up enterprises to grow and develop smoothly in the future.
